How do I know where to place the initials for the monogram?
The traditional monogram is comprised of 3 initials, with the initial of the last name appearing in the center larger then the first two initials. While most monograms place the last initial in the middle, not all do. Don`t worry! If you enter the initials as requested, we will place them in the correct order based on the monogram you have selected. If you would like something different (for example: three letter block monogram, but in the order of first name, middle name, last name) simply write specifically in the `Additional Monogram Info` Box located on the order page.

Where does the monogram go?
We will place the monogram in the traditional locations for the item(s) you select. For instance, on a child's dress the monogram goes in the center. A baby bib, the monogram goes in the center.
If there is an item that has multiple choices for a monogram (for instance, a button down shirt can have a left chest and right chest)we will place the monogram in the traditional place (left chest on shirt, left collar on dress) unless otherwise noted.
If you would like a different monogram location, please write specifically in the 'Additional Monogram Info' Box on the order page.
Due to technical limitations, we may not be able to accommodate all placement requests.

How should I select the monogram color?
The sky's the limit! Many people select a color that matches something in the product being monogrammed. Others prefer to use a contrasting(but complimentary) color for added emphasis (ex. using chocolate brown on a pink dress).
Remember that computer monitors may show colors differently. When you specify the color thread for monogramming, rest assured that we will select the shade that best compliments the item being monogrammed. If you would like to use a color not shown, please write specifically in the 'Additional Monogram Info:' Box located on the order page and we will contact you if another color is acceptable.

How else might I be able to monogram an item besides the traditional monograms?
* Instead of intials, use a first name or last name. Use all uppercase or lowercase letters for a different look.
* Use only a last name - all your children will be able to use the item!
* Use something other than a proper name! Use a nickname (Maddie, Prince, Princess).
The possibilities are endless!
